I love photographing events that celebrate love, diversity and the many ways we inhabit our bodies and relate to one another.
Whether it is a wedding, a queer performance, a concert, a community gathering or a celebration of any kind, I am drawn to moments that bring people together and create space for connection, pride and joy.
My approach is deeply influenced by my background as a photojournalist. I pay attention to the emotions that unfold throughout the day: a glance, a burst of laughter, a hand reaching for another, a moment of silence, the energy of a crowd.
I am interested as much in the small, almost invisible moments as in the major events themselves.
Trust is essential. Before each event, I take the time to understand the people, the context and what matters most, so that my presence feels as natural as possible.
